There were once two churches, Trinity Presbyterian and Wilshire Presbyterian.
They were similar in many ways and geographically close to one another. Both were full of families and children and each had a childcare on its campus. Trinity Child Development Center was located at Trinity and Child, Inc. was located at Wilshire. Over the years, as the children grew up and moved away, each church’s membership began to dwindle. Wanting to keep a Presbyterian church in the area, the two churches decided to pool their resources and join together in a merger. After three years of planning and discussion, the newly merged church chose the Wilshire location as its home (it was the larger of the two) and the Trinity location was sold.
